Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Haulbeam collects, why, and the choices you have. Haulbeam is provided by Energea Technologies LLC (“we”, “us”) to trucking and supply-chain companies (“customers”).
Who is responsible for your information
When a company uses Haulbeam, that company decides what data to connect and who can see it. For that business data — including information about the company’s drivers and staff — we act as a service provider that processes it on the company’s instructions. For account, billing and website information, we are responsible for how it is handled. If you use Haulbeam through your employer, you can also contact your employer about your information.
What we collect
- Office accounts: name, work e-mail, role, sign-in events, and the device and IP address used to sign in.
- Drivers (Haulbeam Driver app): the name and ID your employer provides; a device key and push-notification token; precise location only while you are on duty and on a trip — tracking stops when you pause, go off duty or end the trip, and the app always shows whether tracking is on; photos and documents you capture (bills of lading, proof of delivery, receipts); messages with your office. Motion data used to lock the screen while driving is processed on your phone and is not sent to us.
- Business data your company connects: loads, stops, shipments, invoices, maintenance, safety, fuel and similar operational records from its systems.
- Billing: payments are handled by Stripe. We receive plan and payment status, not full card numbers.
- Support: what you send us when you ask for help.
How we use it
- To provide Haulbeam: normalize records, show dashboards and alerts, record arrivals and detention time, route messages and approved actions.
- To answer questions with the AI assistant, using your company’s own records. If your company connects its own AI provider, the relevant records are sent to that provider under your company’s account.
- To secure the service, prevent fraud and abuse, keep audit logs, and meet legal obligations.
- To bill your company and provide support.
We do not sell personal information, do not use it for advertising, and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
Who we share it with
- Your company — the customer that invited you — which controls its Haulbeam workspace.
- Service providers that help us run Haulbeam (cloud hosting, payment processing by Stripe, e-mail delivery, and Apple push notifications), bound by contracts to protect the data.
- Other companies on the Haulbeam network, only when your company enrolls and only what the network feature needs (for example a load posting or, with a driver’s consent, their verified driver record). Benchmarks use aggregated, de-identified figures only.
- Legal reasons — when required by law, or to protect people’s safety or our rights.
How long we keep it
We keep information while your company’s account is active and as its retention settings direct; location history is kept only for the period your company’s policy sets. After a company closes its account, it can export its data for 30 days, and we then delete it unless the law or a legal hold requires otherwise.
Your choices and rights
- Delete your account in the app: office users can choose Account → Delete my account; drivers can choose Me → Delete my account. This signs out every device and removes your personal details. Records your company needs to keep (for example a delivery you completed) remain with your company without your personal details, unless the law requires otherwise.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or ask about your rights under the privacy laws of your state, at support@haulbeam.info. If the request concerns your employer’s business data, we will work with your employer to respond.
- You can turn off location permission or notifications in your phone’s settings; some driver features will not work without them.
Security
We use encryption in transit, separation between companies’ data, access controls, malware scanning of uploads and tamper-evident audit logs. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected customers of a breach as the law requires.
Children
Haulbeam is a workplace service and is not intended for anyone under 16.
Where data is processed
Haulbeam is operated from the United States, and data is stored and processed in the United States.
Changes
We will post any changes here and update the date above. For material changes we will notify customers by e-mail or in the app.
